Website Return Policy

Returns are accepted within 10 days of receipt for items that have not been worn, altered, or washed with all tags attached for refund.

The following categories are FINAL SALE and can not be returned or exchanged:

  1. If you are not completely happy with your hiptique ONLINE purchase please contact us within 3 days of receiving your package at shop@hiptique.com to request an RA. All returns must be authorized and assigned a Return Authorization (RA) number. You must request an RA within 3 days of receiving package to stay within the 10-day Return Policy.
  2. RA must be written on the original packing slip and placed in shipping box. Please keep a copy for your personal records.
  3. To return or exchange item(s), send package, insured for the full value of the item(s), with original packing receipt and RA number to:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping charges
  • Packages returned without a tracking number are the sole responsibility of shipper.
  • Items sent back without RA # will not be accepted or approved for return.
  • Any item(s) with indication of wear or use cannot be refunded and will be returned at the cost of the recipient. See below for Return Tips.
  • Upon receipt of Returned merchandise customers will receive a refund to the original purchaser's credit card or online credit. Refunds will be processed in the original form of payment within 7-10 business days. You will be notified via email to the address associated with your account when this transaction has taken place. Your banking institution may require additional days to process and post.
  • Items purchased online may be returned or exchanged in-store but only if accompanied by the original packing receipt. REFUNDS CAN NOT BE ISSUED IN-STORE but must be done thru website as purchased.
  • Original shipping costs will not be refunded.
  • We reserve the right to refuse merchandise returns if it is past the 10 days of receipt of package or procedures are not followed as stated.
  • Unauthorized returns will be the responsibility of the customer and held at the store for 30 days only.

FAQ and More Babble

Tips for keeping items in returnable condition:

  • Shoes must be in original packaging and original condition. Please note that shoes may be pulled from boutique stock that may have been tried on within the store. This might contribute to minor scuffs, which should not be considered worn. We suggest trying shoes on over a rug or carpet to avoid any major scuffs.
  • Please be mindful of make up or deodorant rubbing off on any tops or dresses. Any make-up found on returns will not be accepted.
  • Do not remove price tags; we will not accept items without attached hiptique price tags.
  • We have the right to deny credit if the merchandise returned does not meet our return policy requirements.

When will my credit card be refunded?

A refund transaction will be processed after package has been received and approved for refund. Refund will be processed in the original form of payment or online credit. You will be notified via email when this transaction has taken place. Please keep in mind your banking institution may require additional days to processes this transaction.

Am I allowed to exchange merchandise?
Yes, we accept exchanges. You will still need to request an RA number for the return. If exchange merchandise is unavailable, we will refund the cost excluding original shipping charges.

If I receive an item as a gift, do I still need an RA number?
Yes, all returns must have an RA number.

What if the contents of the package are damaged or the wrong size/color/item?
If we did not have our 2nd cup of coffee and made a mistake on your order, please notify us immediately upon receiving your package. We will be happy to correct our mistakes and beg for your forgiveness.

Are there types of merchandise that cannot be returned?
Yes!  The following categories are FINAL SALE and can not be returned or exchanged:

If these items are sent back, they will be returned at the cost of the recipient.

Can I use a Gift Card / Credit Online?
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to use a Gift Card or Credit online. However, we will be more than happy to place your order over the phone and apply your Gift Card to the transaction. We will honor all of our existing online policies & procedures when placing order. Contact us at (310) 399-6105.

I placed an Order but now it is unavailable. What is going on?
All online orders are pulled from our brick & mortar boutique. We work incredibly hard to keep our inventory accurate, however, there are times when we have made an error. If this happens, we will contact you immediately, give you a full refund including shipping charges.

Can I cancel an order?
Once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled. Please beware of shopping after too many cocktails. (Personally that is when I do my best shopping but you've been warned).

Can we become friends??
ABSOLUTELY – when you order from hiptique you will automatically be added to our email list. You will receive our emails on new arrivals, sales and invites to our fabulous parties. If you choose to part ways at any time, just click ‘Unsubscribe’ – promise no hard feelings.

We promise to never give away any of your secrets or email address, no matter how nicely we are asked.
